Robyn Haley Smith graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and a minor in Creative Writing from Oregon State University circa 2015. After school she worked as a Digital Marketing Coordinator for Skagit Publishing in Mount Vernon, Washington. She moved to Salem, Oregon in early 2017 and started working in a criminal defense law firm. Her work as a legal assistant prompted her to obtain an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from Portland Community College in 2018.
Robyn started working for the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association in July of 2018. Her position as Communications Director allows her the opportunity to use her education and agricultural background to serve the ranchers of Oregon from the Capital. Her interests in Oregon law, Greek rhetoric, conservative-activism, and female empowerment often conjure out-of-the-box discussions regarding politics and policy issues.
In her free time, Robyn loves hiking and gardening with her husband, Kenny and spoiling their two cats, Stan & Greyson. She is originally from Culver, a rural Central Oregon town – population 1,200. Growing up, Robyn was involved with FFA and 4-H, she was raised in the saddle and lives for equestrian sports.
